So far I think that things are going
well in this class. I enjoy the atmosphere of it and the class as a whole; also
the fact that it’s not that big of a class compared to some of my other ones.
With that, I think it’s a better learning environment and we can participate
more. I did think it was going to be a harder/rougher class, but it’s exceeding
my expectations. This last paper is going to be a challenge for sure, and I
appreciate it when we can work on it in class. When we have these research
assignments, I would rather that we didn’t have the reading homework included.
I’m not too sure what else we can
try to change for the class. I enjoy the class ‘lectures’ and participation
from everyone in general, and I am learning a lot. I like the blog assignments;
they’re something different from all my other classes. I think they’re going
fine. And something that I’d appreciate, (and I think the whole class would
agree with me), would be to have some extra credit available. These three
papers are worth so much on our grade. If we don’t get the best grade on one of
them, then it’d bring down our grade a lot. Having some other extra credit
would help even out the weighted papers. The research paper is worth 300 points
by itself.
Other than that, I think that the
class is doing well and we’re all learning together.
I agree! I REALLY appreciate the time in class to research and start a rough draft. It allows us to ask questions as they come up about the paper instead of waiting for the next class period.
ReplyDeleteExtra credit would be awesome! I would still do all my regular assignments, but it would be nice to have the extra credit opportunities if I didn't get the grade I wanted. I really enjoyed your comments.
