I have never really loved writing, so when I found out that I had to take this class, I was not really excited. Consequently, I came into it with sort of a bad attitude. But, as the semester has gone on, I have been surprised at how much I have learned from this class. I have developed into a stronger writer and my thinking skills have greatly improved.
I like writing on the blog because it gives us a chance to do some creative writing. I also like how we get comments and feedback from our peers on the papers we write. It is nice to see other people's point of view and they are usually able to give helpful advice and good ideas.
Writing the papers has definitely been the biggest challenge for me, but I think I have grown as a writer because of them. They have forced me to think deeper and really develop my thoughts and my style as a writer.
Overall, I think the class is going very well and I feel that by the end of the semester I won't regret the time I spent in it.
Yeah writing is something you can only get good at by experience. Lots and lots of experience. I agree that this class is a class you just have to sign up for and take to realize the long term benefits it will give. Just keep chugging along!
