1) Response should demonstrate the author's logical reasoning/thoughtfulness
2) Response should be complete (by addressing the arguments and counterarguments involved in the issue)
3) Response should use logical, ehtical, and pathetic appeals to convince readers.
4) Other media (YouTube videos, images, audio, hyperlinks to other articles etc.) is encouraged in addition to typed responses to prompts.
5) Occasionally, a prompt may inspire/require a little outside research. If you do use external sources as part of your writing, remember to give credit to the original authors (either by posting a hyperlink to the original source or citing the source with MLA in-text citations and a Works Cited section at the bottom of your post).
6) I hope it goes without saying, that slang and abbreviations are not appropriate ways to establish a credible voice online.
(i.e. Never ever ever ever say that, "u should tots go 2 this site cuz its freaking sWeEt!!!**$$" etc.)
